ROD EARHART IS
RECOVERING AT HOME
Rod is improving daily and is now home from
the hospital. During the next few weeks, Patty would appreciate men to help Rod
get in and out of the car and assist Patty driving to radiation treatments and
various medical appointments. If you would like to help, please speak to Father
Hines or Vince Mills.
DID YOU KNOW?
Providing for your children in case you die
prematurely takes more than picking someone to raise them. You should also
consider what will happen to any money or property your children inherit from
you. Who will manage it for them until they become adults? You can leave these
instructions in your will or living trust. Many parents don’t leave money
directly to their c hildren. Instead, they leave
everything to each other, with the understanding that the survivor will care
for the children. They name their children as alternate beneficiaries. Many
single parents, however, leave property directly to their children. Either way,
you should arrange for someone to manage whatever property they may inherit, in
case they receive it while they are still too young to manage it themselves. You
can take care of this in your will or living trust.
STEWARDSHIP
SUNDAY - SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 16, 2008

As you contemplate your pledge, please remember that the tithe is the biblical

giving 10% of your annual income for the furtherance of God’s Kingdom.

We employ the rich Cerremonial
of the historic Church in our worship. While it may seem a bit strange or
unnatural to you at first, be patient. The liturgical heritage of the Church
WILL speak to you in time, as it has to Christians through the centuries.
Welcome to Saint George’s Parish
In the Name of God the Father who created us and sustains the
world in which we live, God the Son who died for us and rose again to save us from
a life of sin and death, and God the Holy Ghost who inhabits and guides our
sacramental and prayerful worship of Him, the One and Triune God.
