THE THIRD SUNDAY AFTER EASTER

May 03, 2009 A.D.

ANGEL PARK LUNCH AND GOLF TOURNAMENT TODAY AFTER 10:30 MASS

It is not too late to join the putting tournament today.  Lunch for everyone will be served immediately after 10:30 am Mass today.  After both masses and at the golf course, we will be selling opportunity tickets for an I-Pod gift card and an Olive Garden restaurant gift card.    The winners will be announced next Sunday.  Following lunch, golfers assemble at Angel Park Putting Course.  No golfing skills are required and it is fun for the entire family.  Ticket prices (including lunch) are $12.00 for adults and $8.00 for children under 12.  All profit from the tournament is dedicated to reducing the principle on St. George’s mortgage.  If you do not wish to golf, please consider a donation towards mortgage reduction.

WEST SIDE STORY AT SPRING MOUNTAIN RANCH – JULY 25, 2009

Mark your calendars for Saturday, July 25th.  Mike and Kathy McKeag are hosting a barbecue at Spring Mountain Ranch followed by the musical, West Side Story.  Tickets, including dinner and the show are $15.00 for adults and $10.00 for children who under 12.  Since there is heavy public demand for this show, we will purchase tickets tomorrow (May 4).  If you are interested in attending, please sign up on the clipboard located at the back of the chapel.  If you are one of those who reserved tickets, please reimburse the church for the tickets as soon as possible.  All profit from the evening goes towards mortgage principle reduction.

ST. GEORGE’S DAY

Many thanks to all those who labored to make St. George’s Day a huge success. Archbishop Provence enjoyed his visit and commented on how impressed he was with the good work being accomplished through Christ.  He said we’ve laid a good foundation on which to expand the ministry of the church and is quite hopeful of our future.
