WOMEN’S PRAYER GROUP RESUMES TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 1

The Women’s Prayer Group will meet in the Church on Tuesdays, 4:00-5:00 pm. All women of the Parish are invited to join this very important ministry.

ACW MEETING, SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 5

The ACW Meeting next Saturday. It is the first meeting after the Summer months and plans for the rest of 2009 will be discussed.

CONFIRMATION CLASSES TO BEGIN

Parents who have youth 12 years of age or older who are not confirmed will be contacted by Father Hines this coming week about the schedule of Confirmation classes and the course of material that will be used.

WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 18 (Revised Date)

Study of Book of Esther begins September 18. Classes meet at the Church on Fridays, 7:00-9:00 pm. If you are interested, please speak with Janie Brown. The workbook, entitled ’Esther-It’s tough being a woman” is available through Lifeway.com, Christianbook.com, and amazon.com. Some people have found that they save some shipping and handling if several people order their workbooks at the same time.

FR. HINES’ WEDNESDAY EVENING BIBLE STUDY CONTINUES

Father Hines is teaching the Gospel of St. Mark on Wednesday evenings, 7:00—8:15 pm.

FR. GREER AND JUDITH ON VACATION THIS WEEK

Fr. Greer and Judith left on vacation August 28th and will return September 8th.

BLESSING OF THE ANIMALS

Blessing of the Animals will take place on Saturday, October 3rd. On Sunday, October 4th, we are in-vited to bless a stable and horses. Sunday School students are invited. More news next week!
