MANY THANKS TO KIM JONES FOR ARRANGING THE EPIPHANY PARTY

The fourth annual Epiphany party was celebrated last Sunday.  The Epiphany cake was delicious and the pinata was huge and loaded with candy.  Selecting gifts for each child and wrapping them for the Sunday School children and arranging for the party is a huge task that takes many weeks of preparation.  Thanks Kim!

VISITATION BY ARCHBISHOP PROVENCE

We are pleased to announce that Archbishop James Provence will visit St. George’s on Sunday,  April 26th.  He will celebrate Mass and join us for our St. George’s Day celebration.

COFFEE HOUR VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

A volunteer for coffee hour is needed for next Sunday, January 25th.  There are also numerous dates available in February and during  the Spring months.  The Coffee Hour host/hostess provides simple fare and cleans up the kitchen afterwards.  The ushers assist by setting up the tables and making the coffee as well as storing the tables and helping clean up afterwards      Coffee hour is an important time to make newcomers feel welcome and for all of us to become better acquainted.  Please consider volunteering for this important ministry.

We employ the rich ceremonial of the historic Church in our worship.  While it may seem a bit strange or unnatural to you at first, be patient.  The liturgical heritage of the Church WILL speak to you in time, as it has to Christians through the centuries/
