St George's Anglican Church
A Traditional Episcopal 1928 Prayer Book Parish

Jesus spake by a parable: “A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the way-side; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it. And some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture. And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprang up with it, and choked it. And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold.”

The parable of the sower, interpreted from a 15th century Book of Hours.

We employ the rich ceremonial of the historic Church in our worship. While it may seem a bit

strange or unnatural to you at first, be patient. The liturgical heritage of the Church WILL

speak to you in time, as it has to Christians through the centuries.

Welcome to Saint George’s Parish

In the Name of

God the Father who created us and sustains

the world in which we live,

God the Son who died for us and rose again

to save us

from a life of sin and death, and

God the Holy Ghost who inhabits and guides

our sacramental and prayerful worship of Him,

the One and Triune God.
