FATHER HINES’ ENQUIRERS CLASS BEGINS SUNDAY, JUNE 3RD, 9:25 – 10:10 AM
This is a nine week course for those enquiring about membership and parishioners wishing to learn more about the Mass. While the emphasis will be on the Mass other topics will include a history of St. George’s parish and the Anglican Church. The textbook is Fr. Greer’s Commentary on the Mass; cost is $5 to be paid at the 1st class.

ST GEORGE HAS A NEW WEBSITE!
Our parish’s new website made its debut The Saturday after Ascension Day! It is the next generation in websites and offers both parishioners and the public numerous resources and information about our parish and the Christian faith in the Anglican tradition. Parishioner Ginny Deering has been working with Fr. Hines for numerous months on the site. “Ginny and I are extremely excited about the site and feel it will be a real blessing to those who visit it.”, said Fr. Hines. Improvements are being made to it weekly. Check it out at stgeorgeanglican.org

ALTAR FLOWERS
We are seeking volunteers to order Altar flowers and transport them to the church each week. The florist is located in Smith’s Grocery Store at Lake Mead & Rampart. A few have volunteered but we would like to have a larger group (men as well as women) of volunteers so the burden does not fall to a few. If you live in the area of our church and/or Lake Mead and Rampart and are interested in helping, please sign the list on the table at the back of the church. Once we have volunteers, we will meet to discuss details. For questions, please speak with Fr. Hines or Sharon Zurfluh.

COFFEE HOUR VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR JUNE.

KEEPING THINGS FESTIVE THROUGH WHITSUNDAY
From Easter Day to Whitsunday is perhaps the most glorious fifty days of the Church Kalendar year. For forty days following our Lord’s Resurrection, He walked the earth and appeared unto His disciples and to numerous others. As Our Lord promised His disciples, on the fortieth day He ascended into Heaven and told them to wait for the Comforter, the Holy Ghost, who descended on the disciples ten days later (Whitsunday or Pentecost, Sunday, May 27). To distinguish these most momentous and joy-filled days in the history of mankind, the Church will adorn Herself with all the beauty She is capable of, and this will be expressed in its Masses, in its music and in its priestly vestments. One highlight will be the beautiful cope Fr. Hines will wear in the festival Masses.
