SIGN-UP SHEETS FOR LESSONS AND CAROLS FOR CHRISTMAS

The Festival committee is requesting donations of food for Lessons and Carols for Christmass which will take place next Sunday.  St. Anne’s Guild provides turkey and ham for the reception, but other items are needed as well.  Please volunteer to bring something to this wonderful event.  There are two sign-up sheets on the patio.

DONATIONS TO THE FESTIVAL OF NINE LESSONS AND CAROLS WILL BE GIVEN TO THE SALVATION ARMY.  Please bring a can or jar of food for those in need.  Also, at the conclusion of the service there will be a collection at the door that will be donated to the Salvation Army.

CHRISTMAS POINSETTIAS

If you wish to contribute to the Christmas poinsettias, a sign-up sheet is located on the table at the back of the church.

IF YOU WISH TO MAKE CONFESSION DURING ADVENT,  PLEASE CONTACT FATHER HINES.

GREENING OF THE CHURCH

Decorating the church for the Lessons and Carols for Christmass will begin after the Sunday School Pageant today and will continue in the evenings throughout the week, ending next Saturday afternoon, December 21, as time and schedules permit.  If you are able to help even for a few hours, please speak with Scotty and Sandy Heer, coordinators of the project or sign up on the sheet located on the patio.

EPIPHANY GIFT PROJECT

What gift will you give Jesus this coming Epiphany?  Did you know St. George’s has a wish list of items needed for the coming year?  These gifts  are varied; anything from colored construction paper for the Sunday School children to oil for candles on the altar.  Your gifts will be presented at the church on Epiphany Sunday, January 5th.  A sign-up board is located in the coffee hour area.  If you have any questions, please speak with Ann Whitfield.
