7th Sunday After Trinity

OUR PARISHIONER, CARMELITA WALLACE, IS MOVING OUT OF STATE.
Carmelita and her husband Bob are moving and today is the last Sunday that she will be at church. Carmelita has said St. George’s Church is the nicest church she has ever attended. She has found our parish family warm and friendly too. She will miss everyone and we will most certainly miss her. We wish Carmelita and Bob God’s continued blessings. You may wish her well at the coffee hour following the 10:30 am Mass.

FATHER GREER’S COMMENTARY ON THE MASS IS NOW AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE
The price for the book has been raised to $10 to offer a better production of the book, ensuring that your copy will hold up from years of use.

ROOM

“JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAM COAT” SATURDAY, AUGUST 18
This show is a musical written by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice. The play is based on the story in Genesis ofJoseph’s “coat of many colors.” If you are interested in joining us for a picnic and show at Spring Mountain Ranch, please sign the clipboard on the patio. Mike & Kathy McKeag will host a picnic supper (sandwiches, chips and drinks) from 6:00-7:00 pm. The theater gates open at 6:00 pm. The show begins at 8:00 pm. Tickets for the show, including picnic are $15.00 per person and are now available for sale. Please speak with Mike McKeag.Children age 5 and under are admitted free.

YOUTH BIBLE STUDY GROUP MEETS IN FR. HINES’ OFFICE TODAY

COFFEE HOUR DURING OUR HOT JULY DAYS:
During the month of July, coffee and hot water for tea will be served from the kitchen at the back of the church. If
anyone wishes to bring some “goodies” they will also be served from the kitchen counter. Tables will not be set up
on the patio.

FATHER HINES’ ENQUIRERS CLASS CONTINUES
The class meets at 9:25 – 10:10 am. This is a nine week course for those enquiring about membership & parishioners wishing to learn more about the Mass. The textbook is Fr. Greer’s Commentary on the Mass.

ACOLYTE TRAINING
Acolyte training continues this morning. Classes will take place in Father Hines’s office at 9:10-9:50 am.

MOUNT CHARLESTON HIKE SUNDAY, JULY 29TH
The hike is a go for Sunday, July 29th following the 10:30 am Mass. We need volunteers to provide lunch at the church prior to heading up the Mountain. The proposed trail is Bristle Cone Pine trail in Lee Canyon. If you need a ride, talk with Fr. Hines.
