BAPTISM TODAY

Today’s service is an all-important event in the life of Karen Gradington.  She will be baptized during Mass at 10:30 am.  Your prayers are welcomed and greatly appreciated.  Please join us after Mass on the patio to celebrate.

PASTOR DR. MIHAIL’S CLASS CONTINUES:  9:15-10:15 AM

The series is the study of I AM sayings of Jesus in the Gospel of St. John.  It is not too late to join this wonderful class taught by Rev. Dr. Marcus Mihail. 

NEW CLASS BEGINS NEXT WEDNESDAY EVENING, JULY 2, 7:00-8:00 PM 

A study of C. S. Lewis’ The Chronicles of Narnia: The Magician’s Nephew will begin Wednesday evening, July 2, 7:00-8:00 pm  Classes will meet every other Wednesday.  Class will be led by Kathy Ruud. 

INDEPENDENCE DAY MASS – FRIDAY, JULY 4, 9:30 AM

FIRST CHOICE PREGNANCY SERVICES
1st Choice offers innovative approaches to reaching and serving women who are considering alternatives to abortion.  If you are interested in donating to this worthy cause, baby bottles are provided today on the patio.  Please fill the bottles and return them to St. George’s.  Your donations will be forwarded to 1st Choice.

50/50 RAFFLE:   ONLY 66 TICKETS LEFT!   TWO WINNERS WILL EACH RECEIVE $500 CASH.

This fund raiser will help reduce the church mortgage.  Tickets are $5.00 each and on sale today after both services.  Please see Mike or Kathy McKeag to purchase your tickets.  

BOWLING AND PIZZA AT THE SANTA FE:  SUNDAY, JULY 13

We will gather at the Santa Fe Bowling Lanes after 10:30 am Mass.   The price of $10.00 for this fun event which includes pizza, soda, two bowling games, shoes and ball rental.  Please mark your calendars.  A sign-up sheet is available on the patio.

SUMMER MOVIE NIGHT SATURDAY, JULY 26 AT 6:00 PM
Thank you to Kim, Michael, and Hannah Jones for the great movie night last evening.  The next show will be Saturday evening, July 26, at 6:00 pm, at St. George’s.   The movie is free.  Popcorn, drinks, and candy will be served.   A donation for the food is appreciated.  The third movie of the summer is scheduled on Saturday, August 16.   

HEALTHIER LIVING, CHRONIC DISEASE SELF-MANAGEMENT WORKSHOP CONTINUES 

NEXT THURSDAY, JULY 3:   If you are interested, it is not too late to sign-up.  Meeting time each Thursday, 2:00-4:30 pm.

2014 SUMMER YOUTH RETREAT, JUNE 29 – JULY 4.
Summer Youth Retreat begins today for Grades 7 through 12.  Father Davis is camp counselor and the group gathers for a 5-day program in the Pacific Northwest.   Please pray for all who attend.
