SYNOD MEETS IN TULSA, OKLAHOMA, JUNE 10-12

FATHER HINES IS OUT OF TOWN TUESDAY, WEDNESAY AND THURSDAY, JUNE 10-12
There will be no Wednesday evening service.  In an emergency, please contact Dale Foust at 702-361-6218 or Martha Tracey at 702-685-4768.

50/50 RAFFLE TODAY:   Ticket sales continue.  There will be two winners – each winner receives $500 cash. The proceeds help reduce the church mortgage. Tickets are $5.00 each and on sale today after both services.  Please see Mike or Kathy McKeag to purchase your tickets.

TEEN BIBLE STUDY MEETS IN FATHER HINES’ OFFICE TODAY

ANGLICAN YOUTH GROUP MEETS TODAY CHURCH 12:30 – 2:00 PM 

PASTOR DR. MIHAIL’S CLASS CONTINUES:  9:15-10:15 AM
The series is the study of I AM sayings of Jesus in the Gospel of St. John.  It is not too late to join this wonderful class taught by Rev. Dr. Marcus Mihail.

CLASS ON WEDNESDAY EVENING WILL MEET THIS WEDNESDAY, JUNE 11
The class will meet this Wednesday, even though no Mass is scheduled.  A study of C. S. Lewis’ The Screwtape Letters continues.  This class is led by Kathy Ruud.   The class meets on Wednesday evenings, 7:00-8:00 pm.   Everyone is welcome to join the ongoing class.

HEALTHIER LIVING, CHRONIC DISEASE SELF-MANAGEMENT WORKSHOP, BEGINS JUNE 19:    Please see the insert in today’s bulletin.  A sign-up sheet is available on the patio.

2014 SUMMER YOUTH RETREAT, JUNE 29 – JULY 4.
Summer Camp for youth in grades 7 through 12 gathers for a 5-day program in the Pacific Northwest.  Father Davis is counselor for the camp.  Please see the flyers located on the patio.  If you know of a youth who would enjoy this camp, please speak with Father Hines.

FOOD FOR THE HUNGRY
Please remember the less fortunate.  Jack and Jerry Bates maintain an inventory of items needed to assist families within our parish.  They also deliver extra supplies to Catholic Charities.  Right now grocery supplies are running low:  Canned goods, peanut butter, cereal, and other nourishing items are needed.   Let’s fill St. George’s Grocery Wagon, located on the patio each Sunday or in the back hall on weekdays.  “IT IS MORE BLESSED TO GIVE THAN TO RECEIVE”
