Thanks to the acolytes, ushers and especially to the wonderful luncheon hosted by the Patty Earhart and the ACW.   Bishop Brulc really enjoyed his warm welcome.

50/50 RAFFLE RESUMES TODAY!   We have sold more than half of the 400 tickets. There will be two winners – each winner wins $500 cash. The proceeds help reduce the church mortgage. Tickets are $5.00 each and on sale today after both services.  Please see Mike and Kathy McKeag.

TEEN BIBLE STUDY MEETS IN FR. HINES OFFICE TODAY

NEW CLASSES
Last Wednesday, a study of C. S. Lewis’ The Screwtape Letters, began.  This is a four-week class led by Kathy Ruud.   It is not too late to join the class which will meet for the next three Wednesday evenings, 7:00-8:00 pm.

A new series of classes begins next Sunday, May 18:  Study of I AM sayings of Jesus in the Gospel of St. John, 9:15-10:15 am. This seven-week course is led by Rev. Dr. Marcus Mihail.   A sign-up sheet is available on the patio.

SPAGHETTI DINNER, MAY 31, 6:00 PM
Bob Fabbri, our fabulous chef, will be cooking a Spaghetti Dinner on Saturday evening at 6:00 pm.  The ACW will prepare the side dishes.  This is a fund raising event to help reduce the mortgage.  Cost of dinner for Adults: $7.00, Children 4-12 years old: $3.00 each; and children 3 years and under are free.  In order to know how much food to prepare, please add your name to the sign-up sheet located on the patio, if you plan to attend.

THE REVEREND ROBERT T. DAVIS VISITING ST. GEORGE’S, SUNDAY, MAY 25.
Please plan to welcome Father Davis to St. George’s on Memorial Day weekend.  Father Davis is Rector of St. Bartholomew’s Church in Woodinville, Washington (near Seattle).  He is kind enough to celebrate Mass for us in order to give Father Hines a few days off.
