HELPING NEEDY FAMILIES WITH A THANKSGIVING MEAL
Father Hines and other parishioners are involved with the city’s Faith Initiative Forum, hosted by Mayor Carolyn Goodman. Churches have been asked to partner with government agencies to better meet the needs of our community. Our parish family has an opportunity to help with Cimarron High School’s annual Thanksgiving Day dinner for needy school students and families. Volunteers are needed to help serve the Thanksgiving meal and/or to donate money to purchase pies for that meal. Details will be available after November 5th.

“IN GATHERING” CONTINUES

Last week we acknowledged with thanksgiving all of God’s gifts to us. For those of you who weren’t here or you have not yet made your commitment, pledge cards are available on the table at the back of the church. Please fill them out and place them in the offering plates. By the sharing of your time, abilities and money, St George’s Church stands here a Holy Place. As you contemplate your pledge, please remember that the tithe is the biblical and Christian standard of giving back to God and His Church, and is defined as giving 10% of your annual income for ther furtherance of God’s Kingdom in Christ Jesus.
