CAR WASH—SUNDAY, OCTOBER 14, 2012 AFTER 10:30 AM SERVICE
After the rain this week, your car probably has spots. The Sunday School & Anglican Youth Group are excited to
wash your vehicle today after the 10:30am service. A donation of $5.00 or more is appreciated.

FALL PICNIC NEXT SATURDAY: OCTOBER 20, 2012 – SIGN-UP SHEETS ON PATIO
The picnic is held at Lone Mountain Park, Picnic area “A,” Craig and Jensen. Children’s games begin at 11:00 am
with lunch served at 12:30 pm. Picnic reservations are being taken and sign up sheets are on the patio. The ticket price is $15.00 per adult. Children 12 & under are free. The ACW would appreciate if you would pay for your tickets today. We will have children’s games and the traditional cakewalk. Donations of homemade cakes are much appreciated. Volunteers are needed to help decorate and set up before and clean up after the picnic. Please sign up to
help. If you are bringing a donation, please also sign up on the volunteer list.

ENTERTAINMENT COUPON BOOKS AVAILABLE FOR SALE ON THE PATIO
Coupons are good throughout next year. Books sell for $30.00. For the first fifty books sold, the church receives 20% of sale price; over fifty books, 50% per book. Sale of books will last through Dec. 15th.

On Sunday, October 28th, we will gather as a parish family to give thanks to our generous and loving Father for all of
the many blessings that flow from His throne and to make our pledge to financially support His church for the coming

HELPING NEEDY FAMILIES WITH A THANKSGIVING MEAL
Father Hines and other parishioners are involved with the city’s Faith Initiative Forum, hosted by Mayor Carolyn
Goodman. Churches have been asked to partner with government agencies to better meet the needs of our community. Our parish family has an opportunity to help with Cimarron High School’s annual Thanksgiving Day dinner for needy school students and families. Volunteers are needed to help serve the Thanksgiving meal and/or to donate money to purchase pies for that meal. Details to follow in upcoming bulletins.

GILLIAN MacKENZIE IS WALKING TO RAISE MONEY FOR THE AMERICAN LUNG ASSN
Next Saturday, October 20th, Gillian is participating in the Fight For Air Walk. To donate, go to www.lungnevada.org/vegas. Hit the Fight for Air square, more information, sponsor a walker. Then enter: Gilliam MacKenzie.
