CHRISTIAN CLASSICS – BOOK DISCUSSION:  MERE CHRISTIANITY BY C. S. LEWIS
The discussion of Mere Christianity got off to a fine start.  We are enjoying C. S. Lewis’s sense of humor along with his engaging style as we seek to love God with our minds.  Since there is no Mass this Wednesday, we will meet at Panera Bread at Lake Mead and Tenaya.  Please arrive at 6:45 pm if you plan to order something, so we can begin at 7:00 pm.  We will be discussing Book 2.  Feel free to call Kathy Ruud at 702-327-9641 if you have questions.  It is not too late to join the group.

THANKS TO THE JONES FAMILY FOR THE WONDERFUL MOVIE NIGHT LAST EVENING
We have another wonderful movie coming on Saturday, July 16.  Woodlawn is a 2015 Christian film about a high school football team and coach finding spiritual change in their lives and in their community.

BLESSING OF THE ANIMALS CELEBRATION, SATURDAY, OCTOBER 1ST
This year we are expanding this celebration and we need help from ALL parishioners.  We plan to have vendor booths as well as a petting zoo, pony rides, light refreshments, and of course, The Blessing of the Animals.  At this time, we need help distributing Invitations and Contracts to Vendors who represent animals.  The Invitations and Contracts are located on the patio.  Please take a few copies of the contracts and invitations to your veterinarian; pet groomers; trainers, pet boutiques; SPCA resources or any others you may think of.  For further information, please speak with Ann Whitfield or Fr. Hi Ann,
Thank you for your kind thoughts. This is the first time that I have been able to post to Facebook with the link to the website. There are some thing I am going to ask Ginny how to do.
      Thank you,
      John
