SEVENTEENTH SUNDAY AFTER TRINITY, SEPTEMBER 30, 2018 A.D.

TODAY’S INSTRUCTION ON THE FAITH:   What is the Preface in the Canon of the Mass?BIBLE SAFARI,  FALL SESSION TODAY—SEPTEMBER 30rd, 9:25 TO 10:15 AM
The story of Daniel is a story of the past—and of the future.  And it has important applications for us today, right where we are, in the midst of this post-modern society.  Along the way, we will encounter dreams, visions, a fiery furnace, and a den full of lions.  It’s a story of prayer, obedience, great challenges, and Godly courage.  You’ll be glad you came along for this entertaining and edifying journey!

WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY, THURSDAY, OCTOBER 4TH
Once again we will meet at the church from 1:00 to 2:00 or 2:30 pm depending on the group’s requirements.  We will be using the book ”Psalms: A 12-Week Study” (Knowing the Bible Series).  About the Psalms, J. I. Packer said:  “Psalms teach us how to worship.”  C. S. Lewis said:  “The most valuable thing the Psalms do for me is to express the same delight in God which made David dance.”  R. C. Sproul said:  “Whenever I read the Psalms, I feel like I am eavesdropping on a saint having a personal conversation with God.”  Books for the study are now available.
