THANKS TO KATHY RUUD AND ANN WHITFIELD FOR THEIR INSPIRATIONAL CLASSES TAUGHT THROUGHOUT THE MONTH OF SEPTEMBER
Those who attended the classes express their gratitude for experiencing the love of the Risen Christ.  Studying God’s Word is something both Kathy and Ann hold dearly and it was a joy for them to share their knowledge.  If you haven’t signed up for one of their classes, please consider it the next time.

WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO?  INSTRUCTION ON THE FAITH – SUNDAYS IN OCTOBER, 9:25—10:15 am
This class by Fr. Hines offers instruction on the Faith in the Anglican tradition and is open to all parishioners, new members, and enquiring members.  Today’s instruction will be a historical summary of conversion of England and of the settlement of the Anglican Church.

DIOCESAN FUNDRAISING FOR FLOOD VICTIMS
A special thank you to all who donated towards relief for victims of the hurricane in Houston.  Your donations will be sent to the Diocesan office in Tulsa.  Donations from all parishes will be combined and sent to Americares which is a health-focused relief organization.

LITTLE RED WAGON FOOD PANTRY
The suggested donations are canned green beans, dry milk, and cereal.  Any donation is greatly appreciated by those in need.  Please contact Fr. Hines if you know of someone who needs help.

QUIET REVERANCE IN CHURCH BEFORE MASS
Please try to maintain quiet in the church before Mass.  The choir rehearses 9:25–10:15 am in church.  After that we ask for quiet for those who wish to pray and prepare themselves before Mass.  The Lord was not “in the wind”….neither “in the earthquake”…neither “in the fire”…but in “a still small voice.” (I Kings 19:11-12). May we hear His voice!
