Third Sunday After Epiphany, January 22, 2017 A.D.

TODAY’S INSTRUCTION ON THE FAITH: How do we answer those who say that Jesus was just another teacher or prophet of the Old Testament and, therefore, not the Son of God?

OFFERING ENVELOPES
If you pledged for 2017 and you use offering envelopes, please see the 2017 envelopes located on the table at the back of the church. If you do not see your name on the envelope sets, please email the church office or see Martha Tracey after the 10:30 service.

CLASS ON THE INCARNATION, EXTENDED THROUGH NEXT WEDNESDAY, JAN 25, 7:00 PM
The text for this class is St. Athanasius’ monumental work, “The Incarnation of the Word of God.” Here we have a positive summary of the faith, written by an apologist heavyweight both of his own era of the 300’s AD and that of our own. This class is a wonderful way to strengthen our understanding of the “faith once delivered.”

BIBLICAL REFLECTIONS, AN ADULT DISCUSSION GROUP, LED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT:
Next Thursday, January 26, 1:00-2:00 pm with Ann Whitfield as facilitator. Please bring a Bible (any version) and perhaps a notebook in order to keep track of what the Spirit is saying. Men and women are invited. Just come when you are able.

COFFEE HOUR SIGN UPS
Please consider signing up to donate to the Coffee Hour. As of today, NO ONE has signed the schedule. We all enjoy the treats and this is a wonderful ministry to our visitors.
